Burglary Near You -Chapel Street BD1

Dear Resident

You are receiving this because you live in the vicinity of a burglary that occurred on Chapel Street, this occurred between Thursday 26th March 1600hrs and 27th March midnight. 

BETWEEN TIMES AND DATES STATED SUSPECTS HAVE ENTERED FLAT AND CAUSED DAMAGE TO SEVERAL ITEMS WITHIN THE ADDRESS AND TAKEN ITEMS.

Firstly if you have CCTV or a doorbell camera please check it between THURSDAY 26TH MARCH AT 4PM -MIDNIGHT 27TH MARCH to check if you had any activations. 

Secondly if you have a door with a cylinder lock (composite or UPVC doors mainly) please check the lock. 

Make sure you are satisfied with the rating and is fitted correctly. The locks we recommend have 3 stars written on the front (see image) and are TS007 or SS312 rated. Many firms offer these anti-snap locks. Whilst we do not wish to scare anyone, it is always good to review your own security, and report anything suspicious to the Police.
